About Trovest
Democratizing institutional-quality investment analysis
Why We Built Trovest
Trovest was built for investors who want discipline, not opinions. We got tired of reading conflicting analyst takes, sifting through raw data with no context, and watching good companies get overlooked because one metric looked weak on the surface. So we built the tool we wished existed: systematic scoring that surfaces quality and flags risk—without the noise.
Our Mission
For too long, quality investment analysis has been reserved for Wall Street professionals with Bloomberg terminals and teams of analysts. Retail investors have been left with two options: raw data they can't interpret, or opinions they can't trust.
Trovest exists to change that. We believe every investor deserves access to systematic, consistent analysis that helps them make better decisions—not data dumps and not conflicting opinions.
What We Believe
Scores Over Opinions
Quantitative scoring removes emotion and bias. A stock either meets the criteria or it doesn't. No narrative spin, no cherry-picking data.
Balance Over Averages
A high average score can hide fatal flaws. We require strength across all metrics, not just on average. One weak point is enough to disqualify.
Transparency Over Black Boxes
You can see exactly how every score is calculated. No mysterious algorithms. No "trust us." Full visibility into the methodology.
Tools Over Advice
We provide analysis tools, not financial advice. You make the decisions. We just make sure you have the information to make them well.
The 10-Metric System
At the heart of Trovest is our proprietary 10-metric scoring system. Every stock is scored 0-10 across profitability, financial health, growth, management, and six other weighted dimensions—ensuring no single weakness gets hidden behind a strong average.
Not Financial Advice
Important: Trovest is an investment analysis tool, not a registered investment advisor. We do not provide personalized financial advice.
Our scores and research are informational tools to support your own decision-making. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Always do your own research and consider consulting a qualified financial advisor for personalized advice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who built Trovest?
Trovest was built by a team of investors and engineers who were frustrated with the gap between free data tools and expensive institutional platforms. We wanted systematic, consistent stock analysis without the noise of conflicting opinions.
How does the Trovest scoring system work?
Trovest scores every stock across 10 weighted fundamental metrics including profitability (12%), financial health (12%), business viability (12%), growth outlook (10%), and six others. Each metric is scored 0-10 based on quantitative thresholds. The "Compelling Ideas" filter requires overall score 7.0+, no metric below 4.0, and minimum floors for growth and financial health.
Is Trovest a financial advisor?
No. Trovest is an investment analysis tool, not a registered investment advisor. We provide scores, research reports, and data to support your own decision-making. We do not provide personalized financial advice. Always do your own research.
What makes Trovest different from other analysis tools?
Most tools use a single rating (stars, grades) or show raw data without synthesis. Trovest scores across 10 separate dimensions and requires balance across all of them—a stock with 9 great scores and 1 terrible score gets rejected, not averaged out. This "no weak points" approach catches hidden risks that other tools miss.
